I’m very happy with Sunset Villa as I spent quite a bit of time here there’s going to be some hiccups but things that can be handled, but overall we’re definitely very happy here. Thank you to all the staff for sure.

Even though my mom hasn’t been at Sunset Post Acute for over a year, Lisa has continued to help me every time I call with questions or need information. She is always kind, patient, and willing to go the extra mile. Her compassion and professionalism have meant so much to me during a difficult time. Thank you, Lisa, for always being there to help!

Lisa Turner is the peacock feather in Sunset Villas cap. I have found her to be a woman of integrity and a woman of her word . Moreover, is obvious that she cares about the patients @ Sunset Villa. She displays it through her compassion, empathy and genuine concern. Whenever there is an issue. I can count on Lisa’s support, attention and assistance in getting the matter resolved, in an expeditious manner. I respect a woman that does her job because it’s what she loves and feels called to do. Rather than someone there for a check only. Mere words could Never truly express how much of an asset Lisa Tuner is to SunSet Villa, in Long Beach. My grandmother is 100 years old & was admitted here after she broke her hip & had a partial hip replacement. Lisa Turner was our first point of contact & is an absolute godsend. She was so kind & patient answering all of our questions and handled nearly all the paperwork needed to get my grandma transferred here from the hospital. In addition, she has been a fantastic resource navigating the complex insurance landscape & has gone out of her way to ensure my grandma is well taken care of. When we had any requests during my grandma’s stay here, Lisa is the person who made things happen. We can’t thank her enough! Beyond Lisa’s amazing dedication to her residents at this facility, I have to give a huge shout out to the PT, OT, speech therapy, nursing, nutrition, housekeeping, and social services staff. Erma & Ashley in social services & Jessica in the billing office have been amazing resources. Every staff member we have interacted with has been extremely helpful & we are so happy with the care & attention my grandma has received during her 7 week stay. My grandma has regained enough mobility to return home next week & we are absolutely thrilled. Highly recommend this facility for post acute care.

Calling around to find reputable facilities for my mom’s discharge from the hospital was overwhelming, but Lisa was a breath of fresh air. She was incredibly knowledgeable about skilled nursing and more. She went above and beyond by taking the time to assist me, even though my mom wasn’t a candidate for their facility. Her warm, professional attitude and willingness to share helpful information truly empowered us. It’s clear that Lisa genuinely cares, and the time she took, her kindness and expertise made a stressful situation much easier. From the get go! Dad Gary, n my sister Rebecca were brought to Sunset Villa! Our whole experience has been amazing n unlike no other! Lisa is admissions Director! This women practically lives her. She is so cheerful, loving,n helpful! Of all the paper work that has to be done,n so confusing. She made sure it got done! This is huge! The staff is friendly n caring! I advise this place for friends or family! Dad passed this morning! During this sad time, Lisa and the staff have been so helpful to set things forward for his resting! I had the pleasure of being referred to this facility by the VA for my father. The care and concern that was poured into my dad will restore your faith in caregiving services. Lisa is committed to making your loved ones stay as comfortable as possible and with as much dignity as they deserve. From the reception desk, to Sharon in the business office, every single person was helpful, patient and kind. My mom stayed here while she was recuperating from a broken femur. I WOULD NOT recommend this place. I looked at several places and when I took a facility walk through here, Lisa Turner sold me on the place. Boy, what a mistake! My mother did not have the care she deserved. We had to request a shower after two days of her being there. We were visiting her daily and taking turns advocating for her because she was completely ignored. She did not have a care plan conducted upon her arrival. I had requested an appointment with Irma Limas. However, by the time the appointment was done (10-days), we voluntarily discharged my mother and requested in-home care services. We didn’t expect the place to be perfect. There are 5 kids who were visiting her around the clock and making sure she had her needs met. There was a physical therapist that was great. I believe her name was Alesia. Hope this helps!

Ramshiel Cuevas helped us with the admitting process for my grandma. She was very helpful, approaching and welcoming throughout the whole process. We are grateful for the assistance, care, and the great services that are being provided to/my grandmother.

Lisa Turner one of the best persons here, we talk about the Lord together, helps me with any problems. Staff here has helped me to have a great recovery from 2 different events. I would refer this facility for anyone needing rehab.

We are delighted with the caring attention everyone from Sunset Villa gives my mother in law. They attentively see to her daily care, keeping her safe, bathed, feed and making sure her daily medication is timely administered. We regularly visit her on the weekends and glad to see Lisa who on these weekend days answers any questions we may have and that saves us much time from our busy weekdays.

I AM VERY HAPPY WITH MY LOVE ONE BEING HERE. I LIKE HAVING LISA HERE ON THE WEEKENDS. MY MOM JUST TURNED 100 YEARS OLD, APPRECIATE THE LOVE AND CARE HERE.

I loved this place, I had my grandma stay at this place. She stayed for about 3 months, few complaints every now and then but nothing serious. It a very clean and safe environment, takes care of the patients needs and ensures that they are safe and feel comfortable during their stay. I think every patient is well taken care of and all the staff are caring and attentive. I would definitely chose this place if I had to again and recommend it.

Mom has a broken hip and here for recovery This place is good as long as you keep your mouth shut. My mother was dumped from there because I brought up concerns. They don’t try to rehab them to get walking again or use the bathroom. They train them to stay in their beds or wheelchair poop in diapers. My mother declined there bedsore from sitting to much and in bed. They said my mother was getting combative and sent her to a psych hospital for evaluation and medication evaluation. She had a UTI my mother has Alzheimer’s and can’t speak for her needs or pains. So she was expressing her being uncomfortable but no one understands. When my mother was being discharged from the psych they transferred her to a different SNF. They told me she’s kicked out they can’t care for her needs there. They didn’t give her a chance for improvement . Sometimes UTIs change patients personality especially non verbal patients. The Social worker there is very unprofessional and rude yelling at me on the phone and argumentative when Im expressing my concerns. Bruises on my mom, bedsore, missing items, wet with spilled juice in the dinning room, they left her there cold and her clothes all wet. If you have concerns you’re a trouble maker and they are going to get rid of you. Horrible place, they changed the name but the staff is the same. Please be careful of your loved ones. FYI I was very present there and looking after my mom and her care. They don’t want you there
